Nearly a year ago, we released a statement urgently calling for a ceasefire in Palestine.

At SALCBC, our mission drives us to speak up when we see injustice and human rights violations, whether locally or internationally.

Nearly a year ago, we released a statement urgently calling for a ceasefire in Palestine. We can hardly believe we are still pleading for the same today. We remain deeply committed to standing with the Palestinian people and advocating for an end to violence.

We continue to be concerned about the rise in racism, anti-Palestinian racism, Islamophobic incidents, and hate crimes that affect members of South Asian communities, including South Asian Muslims.

As BC’s first grassroots ethnic-cultural legal clinic, advocating for human rights is a core priority for SALCBC. This is why we were one of the first legal organizations in BC to demand a ceasefire in Palestine. Our commitment to justice and human rights remains unwavering.

SALCBC has signed on with Ceasefire Now.
