Survey for National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

The Province is seeking input from B.C. employers and employees on whether the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation (September 30) should be designated a provincial statutory holiday under the Employment Standards Act, starting in 2023.

Currently, only two provinces in Canada honour the day as a designated provincial statutory holiday.
